Description: Join us this summer as we embark upon an exciting adventure to, Gita Nagri, an organic farm of compassionate & sustainable farming, set in the scenic Tuscarora valley, framed by mountain ridges, bound by the Tuscarora Creek on the east side, inhabited by melodious birds and other creatures, 19 peaceful cows/oxen, and a carefree flock of about 40 peacocks, 350 acres of rolling green hay fields, pastures and diverse woods.
We invite you to join us for a Sustainable Spiritual retreat from Sep 15-16 at Gita Nagri organic farms. The theme for our retreat this year is ‘Nature and I – can we co-exist?’
Through a series of practical exercises, shared realizations, nature excursions, meditation, farming experience, yoga, delightful treats and discussions our facilitators hope to take us deep into the realm of exciting spiritual adventures. Here in the tranquil settings of the farm, managed by advanced Bhakti Yoga practitioners, we will explore the deep nature of the self, manifest beauty of nature, how the look and feel of the earth is rapidly changing, how sustainable is our global socio-economic model and is there a peaceful way forward?
What to expect over the retreat
