Ashtanga Yoga means there are eight different stages, the 8th stage being samadhi. The beginning of yoga system means you have to control your senses and is called yama. The next stage is niyama or following some regulative principles. Then comes Asana the sitting postures. And when your sitting posture is correct, then you can exercise breathing or pranayama. Next is dhyana, which means meditating, then the subject matter will be fixed up in your heart. A standard yoga class generally focuses just on the postures or asana. We present to you a yoga class and a seminar that focusses on all the 8-steps of the yoga ladder. In each class you will not only get a fun asana – posture practice but also get the chance to experience yama, niyama, pranayama and dhyana !
No matter what your experience level is – our teacher will work with you to help you practice yoga and imbibe the lifestyle techniques that it offers. Every session will be followed by a delicious feast.
