Description: This June 22-24, I want to invite you to join us for a special weekend of spiritual immersion with Devamrita Swami and Badahari Dasa at the Bliss Haven retreat centre in Dunville. Devamrita Swami has been a monk for over 40 years and travels internationally inspiring people to embrace a lifestyle of purity through the knowledge of Bhagavad Gita. Badahari das’s years of concentrated kirtan experience can stir up any heart and throughout the retreat you get a chance to hear beautiful melodious kirtan and soul stirring presentations on Bhakti Philosophy. It is a time to cook together, meditate, walk through nature and take a deep dive into the spiritual realm.

Where are we going?
Retreat centre offers a tranquil environment, nature, and a space where you can hear the trees when you listen in one of the most beautiful areas in Ontario. Retreat Centre is surrounded by acres of natural forest, with hills and valleys, open meadows and spring fed streams.

Retreat content 
Our theme this year is “Living in a mad world – which is crazy” and we have designed a variety of workshops, excursions, and yoga and meditation sessions for you to experience this happiness. You will also find time to just relax in nature.

This is a special retreat designed to give us all an experience of what it means to live a spiritual lifestyle, especially with friends within a community we are a part of:

Inquire away the real questions of life from a world renowned Swami
Experience the joy of sonic meditation , japa, in a group setting
Nature walks through wilderness trails
Enter the world of Bhagavad-Gita and Srimad Bhagvatam in a peaceful setting
Revive yourself through soothing Kirtans with ancient instruments
Savour delicious home cooked vegan treats all weekend long
Flex your muscles through yoga
Establish firmly the Bhakti connection by joining in for such fun-filled activities all weekend.

How to register
We request you to pre-register by June 14 with $40 deposit or the full amount, so we have a clear count of the number of people coming.
Total expenses
Total cost of the weekend (including food and stay) is $150 per person (+ $20 if transportation is required). Please let me know if you would like a ride to the venue and back so I can make appropriate arrangements. We hope you can make it to this fun filled weekend.
About the speaker Devamrita Swami

Devamrita Swami is a monk whose profound dedication to the spiritual path spans four decades. It was in 1972 that he first came in contact with the ancient wisdom of the East. His attraction to this transcendental knowledge was immediate and the effect profound; though a graduate of Yale University, he discovered that this would be the start of his real education. Since that time, through constant spiritual practice Devamrita Swami has matured in his understanding of these ancient truths and now spends his time sharing his realizations with others.

Badahari Dasa

Badahari Dasa, a Bhakti Yogi, Kirtan master and a musician for over 35 years who has performed at several spiritual concerts in every continent.He has a degree in music and has released several music albums and trained many budding artists on classical Kirtan music and instruments.He will enchant you with his deep and devotional voice blended to the expert play of fingers on an ancient instruments 'The Harmonium'. Accompanying him will be a group of expert musician yogis on eastern instruments like the hand cymbals and Mridanga-drum.Witness the transformation within as Badahari dasa explains the power of the mantras he will sing. A not to miss experience for all spiritual enthusiasts.

    Can you please tell me more about this retreat as I’ve never been to one before. Where is this location, how far from Toronto? What is the accommodation like? What is the dress code so I would know what to wear, etc. Are there very long periods of meditation and if so, how long, etc.
