An ancient book of the east or a manual to navigate through the craziness of time and space we live in – Bhagavad Gita is both and more. Join us this Friday as Devamrita Swami, an author, Yale graduate and a Swami who has been studying and practicing the Bhagavad Gita lifestyle for over 40 years takes us on a journey of inspiration to achieve something that survives beyond the barriers of time.
We come into the world with dreams; aspirations which many scientists say define us as human beings. A dream for greatness rests in our hearts and moves us forward. Somehow or other the pressures of modern life blur away these dreams, doubts creep up and we forget that we are meant for something special. Our life may just become something ordinary despite attempts to zest it up. Bhagavad gita provides an opportunity for greatness for everyone. Take your dreams from being just dreams to a reality – get motivated, stay inspired ! We live in extraordinary times and such times call for extraordinary measures – one such opportunity presents itself this summer evening and we request everyone to please join us for an enlightening presentation, soothing meditation and delightful vegan dinner with Devamrita Swami.
About the speaker

Devamrita Swami is a monk whose profound dedication to the spiritual path spans four decades. It was in 1972 that he first came in contact with the ancient wisdom of the East. His attraction to this transcendental knowledge was immediate and the effect profound; though a graduate of Yale University, he discovered that this would be the start of his real education. Since that time, through constant spiritual practice Devamrita Swami has matured in his understanding of these ancient truths and now spends his time sharing his realizations with others.
