Summer brings with it a sense of life, creativity and continuity of life. It’s a time for rejuvenation and a time to flex your muscles – both body and mind. A time for a get-away from the Urban skyline to venture into the scenic setting of Toronto ravines for a spiritual walk and picnic lunch.
This spring, Bhaktimarga Swami, The Walking Monk, will take us on a walk through the Toronto Ravines. He has been a monk for 40 years and walked across Canada, Guyana, Ireland and several different countries. Now he has agreed to take us on this special adventure and we wanted to invite you all to join us for a special walk in the scenic green settings.
Come dressed in comfortable walking clothes for a walk and picnic. The walk will start at Yonge and Rosedale station at 10.30 AM and we aim to be back there at 1 PM.
It’s a great way to flex those muscles and hear from a very special Monk story of his travels and adventures through the land. Join us for a WALKING MEDITATION!
We will have a delicious picnic lunch for all the participants midway through the walk.
